Climate

The Park undergoes a bi-modal rainfall pattern, with brief showers occurring from November to December, followed by more prolonged rains between February and May. The dry season typically extends from late June to October.

Situated at an altitude ranging from 850 to 2000 meters, the park experiences an annual average rainfall between 650 and 760mm.

Getting there

The Park offers accessibility via road or air transportation.

By road: it is a distance of 115 km from Arusha city to the main gate, accessible via the Makuyuni-Ngorongoro road.

By Air: Alternatively, the park can be accessed by air through scheduled flights that arrive at Manyara Airstrips.
