Tour Plan

Your adventure commences from a Hotel in Arusha, setting course for the captivating Arusha National Park. Here, the picturesque Lake Momella serves as the backdrop amidst the bronze-hued bush, where a diverse array of wildlife such as buffalo, waterbuck, giraffe, warthogs, zebra, and gazelle roam throughout the year.

Embarking on foot, you'll partake in a leisurely stroll, intimately connecting with Africa's vibrant essence through the soles of your shoes. This immersive experience allows you to delve into the bush, exploring its intricacies while being accompanied by an armed ranger for your safety. Amidst a symphony of buzzing insects and melodious birdcalls, the distant echoes of the savannah create an atmospheric backdrop.

Hiking through lush forests, you'll be led to a sparkling waterfall, a serene spot that adds a touch of magic to the adventure. Continuing onward, you'll discover a special place renowned for the playful antics of black and white colobus monkeys, adding a touch of enchantment to the journey.

As the day winds down, you'll conclude with a delightful dinner and settle in for an overnight stay in a nearby camp, embracing the tranquility of the surroundings and cherishing the day's remarkable experiences.

Following a satisfying breakfast, the journey continues as you drive towards Tarangire National Park. Renowned for its vastness and diverse concentration of wildlife, especially during the period between July and October when the Tarangire River is at its peak flood, this park promises remarkable encounters.

For enthusiasts of elephants, Tarangire is a haven. Witnessing the majestic African elephant, the largest land mammal in the world, is an unforgettable experience. At Tarangire, herds of these magnificent and intelligent creatures gracefully roam the landscape, caring for their young. Beyond elephants, a dazzling array of wildlife awaits your discovery, including lions, giraffes, warthogs, ostriches, impalas, cheetahs, mongooses, buffaloes, and baboons. The park's avian population is equally splendid, offering glimpses of vibrant birds like the red-and-yellow barbet and the majestic tawny eagle soaring overhead.

After a picnic lunch amidst this wildlife-rich paradise, the journey proceeds to Mto wa Mbu, where the campsite awaits in the late afternoon. Here, ample time is provided for relaxation, allowing you to bask in the ambiance of an African evening while savoring a delectable dinner meticulously prepared by our professional cook.

After a hearty breakfast, your journey continues towards the renowned Lake Natron, celebrated for its high salinity and the distinctive natural effects it engenders. The lake's russet hue owes its color to microorganisms that thrive in the alkaline environment, resulting in salt-crust rafts scattered across its shallows.

Lake Natron is home to over half of the world's lesser flamingoes, presenting a mesmerizing sight of shimmering pink clouds as these graceful birds settle and gracefully stalk through the tranquil waters. The exploration unveils a unique terrain of salt marshes and freshwater wetlands adorned with distinctive flora, leading to breathtaking sparkling waterfalls. The lake's backdrop is the awe-inspiring Oldoinyo Lengai, also known as the "Mountain of God" in the Maasai language, an active volcano sculpting hornitos—remarkable formations crafted from cooled lava.

As the day draws to a close, you'll witness the sun setting in hues of pink and gold over this incredible landscape. Embracing the evening ambiance, dinner will be savored amidst the moon's gentle shadow, providing a serene conclusion to a day of exploration and immersion in the natural wonders of Lake Natron and its surrounding beauty.

Following a delectable breakfast, it's time to bid farewell to the captivating landscapes of Lake Natron and welcome the iconic Serengeti National Park. Embarking on this leg of the journey, your route leads through vibrant towns such as Loliondo and Wasso, eventually arriving at Klein's Gate, the northeastern entrance to the park.

This road trip offers a tapestry of sights encompassing bustling towns, quaint villages, sprawling savannah, and patches of lush forest. Along the way, keep an eye out for diverse wildlife sightings, including antelope, wildebeest, and zebra, adding a touch of wildlife splendor to your journey.

Upon reaching the campsite nestled in the heart of the Serengeti, take a moment to stretch your legs and soak in the surroundings. A scrumptious dinner awaits, ensuring you are well-fueled for a restful night's sleep, preparing you for a full day of thrilling adventures awaiting in the Serengeti tomorrow.

Following a nourishing breakfast, the adventure unfolds deeper into the expansive plains of the magnificent Serengeti, a realm boasting a rich diversity of hundreds of animal and bird species. Every moment of today's expedition promises to captivate your senses—your eyes eagerly scanning for each new wildlife sighting, while your ears revel in the symphony of calls, screeches, and buzzing of life, punctuated by the serene silence of the hot noonday.

The Serengeti is renowned for its unparalleled diversity, offering glimpses of iconic creatures like lions, leopards, elephants, cheetahs, and water buffalo mere feet away from your jeep. The park is also famed for hosting one of nature's spectacular events—the Great Migration of zebras and wildebeests traversing the plains in massive numbers, a risky journey attracting predators striving for survival. Witnessing this phenomenon is humbling and awe-inspiring.

Amidst these renowned inhabitants, the Serengeti shelters lesser-known yet equally mesmerizing creatures, including elands, hyenas, gazelles, crocodiles, giraffes, zebras, monkeys, baboons, hippos, and rhinos. For avid bird-watchers, the park's wealth of bird species, both endemic and migrating from Eurasia, offers a special treat.

The day's adventures culminate with a freshly prepared, delectable dinner at our campsite in Seronera, a feast enjoyed under the blanket of stars, adding a touch of magic to this incredible journey through the Serengeti.

After a hearty breakfast, your day kicks off with another exhilarating drive, immersing yourself in the breathtaking sights and sounds of the Serengeti. The golden-hued grasslands adorned with acacia trees, the endless expanse of blue skies, and the ever-changing vistas form a magnificent backdrop. Perhaps you'll chance upon a rare sight—a tree-climbing lion, albeit not as graceful as the leopard, which is a natural and agile climber. In the distance, a mixed herd of zebra and wildebeest grazes peacefully against the horizon.

Following lunch, the adventure continues as you journey towards the next remarkable destination: the unique Ngorongoro Crater. Tonight's accommodation awaits at Simba Camp, perched on the very rim of the Crater itself. This location offers an ideal opportunity to unwind and rejuvenate. As the day draws to a close, savor a refreshing drink while witnessing the stunning hues of the sunset stretching over the savannah. Watch as the shadows of night gradually envelop the caldera below, creating an enchanting ambiance.

To culminate this day of exploration, indulge in a delectable dinner prepared by our skilled chef, adding a savory touch to your experience at Simba Camp overlooking the mesmerizing Ngorongoro Crater.

You'll rise early in the morning, embarking on a descent into the crater with a delightful picnic breakfast in tow. Utilizing the morning hours optimally, your goal is to spot the impressive array of animals, particularly the renowned Big Five. The volcanic terrain, rich and fertile, serves as a magnet for thousands of grazing animals and their predators. The crater's high walls create a protective haven for numerous species, offering a diverse and overwhelming abundance of wildlife. Among them, expect sightings of zebra, wildebeest, and the distinctive laughter of hyenas, alongside many others.

Following a busy morning of exploration, you'll indulge in a tranquil picnic breakfast near a pond teeming with hippos. Later, marvel at the sights surrounding Soda Lake—the graceful flocks of flamingos creating a picturesque scene, accompanied by storks, ibises, and cranes. Meanwhile, vultures and hawks circle the indigo-blue sky, keeping a keen eye out for discarded carcasses.

As the afternoon unfolds post-lunch, your journey progresses towards Lake Eyasi, arriving in time for a serene sunset stroll along the lakeshore. The day concludes with a well-deserved rest at the Lake Eyasi campsite, allowing you to relish the tranquility and reflect on the day's remarkable encounters amidst the natural beauty of the surroundings.

Lake Eyasi holds a distinct charm as the dwelling place of one of the world's last tribes of hunter-gatherers, the Hadzabe bushpeople. Their lifestyle is rooted in a hunter-gatherer existence, untouched by the conventions of agricultural practices or structured living. Living devoid of rules or calendars, the Hadzabe offer a window into a way of life that has remained largely unchanged for millennia—almost 10,000 years.

During your visit, you'll have the privilege of observing the Hadzabe's traditional survival techniques, including their unique hunting methods. It's essential to note that their hunting practices honor a code of using every part of the hunted creature, ensuring nothing goes to waste. The Hadzabe lifestyle resonates with a profound respect for the land and all its inhabitants, exuding a serene beauty and tranquility that captivates those who encounter it.

After lunch, your journey continues to Mto wa Mbu, a location situated near the entrance gate of the next destination, Lake Manyara National Park. As the day transitions into the evening, take this opportunity to reflect on the adventures experienced so far. Unwind with a refreshing drink, soaking in the ambient calls of the evening, creating a moment of relaxation amidst the natural symphony of the surroundings.

The new day heralds a fresh adventure as you venture into Lake Manyara National Park, nestled at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment. This park presents a mosaic of diverse landscapes—a golden savannah sprawls across the shrubby expanse, flanking the narrow shores bustling with wildlife, and the serene waters of Lake Manyara itself.

Renowned for its vibrant elephant population and bustling tribes of baboons, whose lively antics and incessant calls create an animated atmosphere. Notably, the park is home to the fabled tree-climbing lions, powerful water buffalo, majestic African elephants, graceful giraffes, agile impalas, and serene hippos. With an astounding variety of over four hundred bird species, including migratory birds, it's a haven for avid birdwatchers, offering a paradise to observe these dazzling avian creatures.

Amidst this natural splendor, you'll relish a picnic lunch in the heart of the park, serenaded by the melodies of birdsong and the hum of insects, as the sun casts its golden hue over the surroundings.

As the day draws to a close, bid farewell to Lake Manyara, concluding your journey back to Arusha, where your remarkable safari adventure comes to an end.
