Tour Plan

Following a brief morning briefing, your journey will head westwards towards the picturesque Lake Manyara National Park. This park is renowned for its diverse habitats, from the shallow alkaline lake hosting over 400 bird species to the forest filled with playful Guenon monkeys. The expansive grassy plains offer glimpses of giraffes, hippos, wildebeests, and impalas. Lake Manyara's waters are adorned with flocks of flamingos and various water birds. Enveloped by the lush forests, expect vibrant troops of monkeys and baboons. Appreciate nature's symphony and scenic wonders from the safari vehicle's pop-up roof. As the late afternoon arrives, depart from Lake Manyara National Park and head to the lodge for an overnight stay on a Full Board basis.

Post-breakfast, your safari expedition ventures towards the illustrious Ngorongoro Crater, a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site. This colossal caldera, formed from a volcanic eruption's land collapse, spans about 18 km in diameter and hosts approximately 25,000 mammals. Within this compact space, an array of East African mammals resides, from Grant’s and Thomson’s gazelles to mountain reedbucks in the slopes' forests. Rare wildlife like spotted hyenas, wild dogs, and over 500 bird species are among the vivid sightings. With luck, you may even encounter the Big Five—lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard—during the few hours spent in the crater. After a satisfying lunch at a scenic picnic spot, more game drive time awaits before departing the crater, returning to Arusha by early evening.
